Costume
The colours of the actors outfits are very basic and dull, a deliberate choice made to reflect the mood (which the consumer would assume is serious). The colours are also quite similar to the background which creates the idea that they are trying to camouflage. This conveys the idea that they are trying to hide or sneak up on people and are in a dangerous situation. Both the female and male actor are wearing little to cover or protect them, leaving their bare arms exposed. This could be to highlight the fact that they are in an extreme situation, as this kind of look is often seen in movies where there is conflict and destruction (for example in 'The Impossible' the woman was in a similar attire to the woman in this still image). The muted colours could also be deliberate to allow the audience to focus on other features in the frame in order to comprehend what is happening in the scene.
Lighting
The lighting in the frame is very dim and monotone, which, like the costumes, mirrors the solemn mood of the actors. The background also looks foggy which creates a sense of danger as you cant't clearly see what is lurking behind.
Actor
The man is standing braced;he is in a position ready to shoot at what is approaching him. The woman's posture seems tense and uneasy as her arms are stiff against her sides, her shoulders raised slightly - rather than hanging naturally. The mans countenance appears serious and determined as he is unsmiling with his weapon positioned close to his face. On the other hand, the woman's facial expression looks afraid and shocked as her mouth is open, gawping at what is ahead.
Makeup
The female actor looks like she is wearing very minimal make up which could have been done to match their outfits. The natural make up look may also be to emphasise that they are under extreme circumstances as well as the exhaustion they are probably feeling. Each of the actors hair has also been styled casually to add to the effect.
Props
The gun in the mans hand allows the consumer to understand that there is violence as well as connoting danger. The belts that the actors are wearing are also filled with weapons which suggests that they might need reinforcements against something.
Setting
The scene is set in what looks like a deserted land because of the rocks and sandy kind of ground. The setting allows the audience to understand that there is danger as there is a giant skull in the background which could be used as a symbol of death. The fact that there is no growth such as plants or greenery is a sign that the place isn't meant for living things as there is no sign of any materials for survival.
Prometheus
The actors are wearing bold futuristic looking suits which have chest protection which suggests there is something they need to be protected from or something that is harmful to them. This is similar to the first image as they both have elements of danger, however they are also quite different as the actors outfits in the first image are very basic and leave them very exposed where as in this image they are fully covered.
Lighting
The lighting in this image consists of blue futuristic tones and is also quite dark which is a deliberate choice by the lighting/camera crew in order to only reveal what they want you to see to create a sense of mystery for the consumer. This is very different to the still image taken from 'King Kong: Skull Island' which has much brighter lighting and is more neutral.

The actors in this image are similarly positioned to the actors in the first frame as they are also standing with little space between eachother, however one difference is that they seem more relaxed as instead of holding weapons close to them they aren't actually armed with anything from what i can see and they're arms hang naturally against them, they are also holding flashlights and aiming the light ahead of them.
Makeup
The actors in the frame all have natural makeup, similar to the actors in the skull island still image, however they are different as the actors in the shot from 'Prometheus' look smarter and well-groomed as the woman's hair is tied back into a neat ponytail and both the men's hair are slicked back;styled in a way you would expect to see if they were in a suit or going to an event, creating a more professional look.
